This presentation is a historical analysis of the history and development of law enforcement in the US, from the slave patrols of the 1700s to the present hyper militarized police forces we see today. We’ll be discussing how agencies like the FBI collaborate with police to target, disrupt, and surveil liberation movements and organizations like the Black Panthers as well as how our movements today should relate to law enforcement.
