Organizers are calling on people across the country to participate in the nationwide general strike on May 1, 2026 by refraining from work, school, and shopping.

The schedule for the day:

• 8AM - Bridge Brigade @ 1st Bridge Park (Sunrise Movement)

• 10:30AM - Picket @ Hotel Ivy (Local 17)

• 10:30AM - Picket @ Normandy Inn (Local 17)

• 12 to 1PM - Rally @ Hennepin Gov’t Plaza (AFSCME)

• 2PM - Picket @ Ford Pkwy AT&T Store (CWA 7250)

• 3 to 4PM - Picket @ Target Field (Local 17)

• 4:30PM - March begins @ Lake + Chicago (MIRAC)
