Donald Trump has betrayed the American people. He has continually displayed a blatant disregard for our nation’s Constitution, assaulting or even bypassing constitutional principles to suit his own agenda. He has torn away civil liberties of American citizens; and threatens to do far worse things to non-citizens. His administration has ceded control of democratic institutions to modern American robber-barons such as Elon Musk, whose rabid DOGE has torn through crucial government facilities without a care in the world for the good of the people.

We, the people of Minnesota, will not stand for Donald Trump. That’s why we organize with 49 other states as a part of the nationwide 50501 movement. We’re decentralized, meaning the Minnesota chapter acts autonomously in cooperation with other organizers at state and national levels to determine how best to make change. Nonetheless, we are unified. 50501 stands for 50 states, 50 demonstrations, 1 day. Minnesota 50501 joins our friends from all other states to amplify the voices of our people and resist the tyranny of the executive branch.

You don’t have to be a Democrat or a Republican, a libertarian or a communist, to tell that Donald Trump is not good for America. That’s why MN50501 is proud to be a nonpartisan movement that unifies the resistance against the current administration under one banner. This is not a time for ideologies to consume each other while MAGA devours our country; this is a time for us to stand undivided, indivisible, and to demand liberty and justice for all.

We are currently amidst the second Gilded Age. We have seen this before — the widespread political corruption, the decadent ruling class, the destitute and oppressed workers. But we know that collectively, the working class is stronger than our oppressors. MN50501 is organized for, by, and with your working friends, neighbors, family, and YOU. We have no super-PACs or billionaires behind us. We have only the power and solidarity of a people rising up.
MN50501: WHO WE ARE
MN50501 is a collective effort led by a group of Minnesotan organizers who are joined by numerous committed and generous volunteers. We’re decentralized and grassroots; we don’t lobby and we don’t do bureaucracy. What we REALLY do is resist; we fight; we reclaim. Members are patriotic; they prove that they love America by fighting for it.
